Villa Verano is Vallarta´s largest beachfront estate within a five-minute walking distance of downtown. Surrounded by massive ivy-covered walls, the compound is a sentinel to privacy, security and solitude. No matter where you are on the estate, there is a breathtaking view with alluring tranquility and serenity. You feel a million miles away in paradise.
There are four dining venues, each with its own romance and charm. The main dining room with its unique art, is warm and intimate. The dining terrace is a magical setting, with the surf splashing on the shore below; dining under the stars just doesn´t get any better. Lunch at the pool bar stimulates fun and conversation, the cozy family table in the garden the utmost in tropical dining.
The elegant and spacious living room is ideal for intimate gatherings, relaxing, reading, or just fun and games — there´s a large selection of board games, puzzles and card sets. Also a stereo CD player and TV, with a video library of over 300 of Hollywood´s best feature films.
Some of the finest contemporary Mexican art graces the walls of the villa. Rich hues of natural earth colors and hand-rubbed wood tones create an ambiance unlike any other home in Vallarta. The peaceful mood is enhanced by romantic south-of the border music heard subliminally throughout the estate.
Villa Verano, known as the “Macy Estate,” was originally built by Margaret Macy of Macy´s Department store fame, and purchased by its current owner in 1984. Since that time, it has hosted celebrities and dignitaries from around the world and has been featured in “Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous.”
Bedrooms
All handsomely appointed guest rooms feature whimsical Mexican art, ocean views and private bathrooms. Although breezy and surrounded by lush vegetation, rooms are also air-conditioned if you so desire.

Christmas/New Year´s week – $495/room (11 bedroom, 7 night minimum)
For Thanksgiving there is a 10 bedroom, 7 night minimum.
- Rates do not include the cost of food and beverages or staff gratuities.
- Rates reflect the maximum number of guests, adults and children (regardless of age)combined.
- Check in: after 3pm - Check out: before 11am.
- Minimum Stay: 4 nights / Holiday season 7 nights
- Depending on the season there will be a minimum room rental, please inquire.
- Rates are subject to increase, however, all reservations with deposit will be honored at the rate in effect when taken.
Terms & Conditions
Deposit Policy:
Your reservation will be confirmed upon receipt of your 50% deposit. The balance, plus a $1,000 USD security -phone deposit is due 60 days prior to arrival. The security deposit is refundable providing there is no damage or long distance phone calls during the guest´s stay.
Cancellation Policy:
Please note that a written notice must be received for all cancellations.
Cancellation prior to 120 days: 80% of deposit is refundable.
Cancellation prior to 90 days: 40% of deposit is refundable.
After 90 days: No refund unless the Villa is rebooked for the exact period. The deposit will be refunded less a $200 USD penalty fee.
Bookings for Christmas and New Years are not refundable.

Dining
Villa Verano has two full-time (American trained) executive chefs. Jesus & Felipe are the creators of what guests call "delicious and creative cuisine". Meals are customized according to guests´ desires and cravings.
Dining can be enjoyed in multiple venues but the preferred space seems to be a spacious outdoor terrace that overlooks the Bay of Banderas. During the day, the circular pool bar is the popular spot for a light lunch and your favorite cocktail.
Family Room / Entertainment Center
The owners of Villa Verano have recently invited guests into their cozy library that is lined with a spacious window seat, an expansive collection of books and a computer with high-speed internet.
Villa Staff
The friendly, ever-faithful villa staff has been with Villa Verano for several years. They take pride in their work and are dedicated to their guests. Besides the two executive chefs, the villas has a bilingual houseman, a meticulous housekeeping team and passionate gardeners.
Staff is normally off for half the day on Saturdays and all day Sunday. However, dinner can be arranged on Saturday evening at no additional cost. On Sundays the staff is normally available with prior arrangements at an additional cost.
Directions
Villa Verano is located approximately 30 minutes South of the Puerto Vallarta International Airport and is only five minutes from Old Vallarta´s quaint, cobblestoned Zona Romantica.
